Hotel Features. Sea-view ambience greets guests of La Fuente, where chefs prepare Italian, Mexican, French and Chinese dinner buffets. Albatros Restaurant & Bar serves international cuisine and offers oceanfront seating beneath a traditional thatched roof. A poolside bar and lobby bar provide snack foods, tropical drinks and big-screen television entertainment. The resort offers high-speed Internet access. This property features two pools and a shallow children's pool. Sand sunning terraces are furnished with thatched-roof palapas. A small fitness center located in the pool area faces the turquoise Caribbean Sea. Guestrooms. The Flamingo Resort offers 221 air-conditioned guestrooms and suites in a four-story, cream colored, Mayan pyramid-style building with elevators. Garden-fringed exterior corridors feature orange and yellow accents and Mayan-style pole ceilings. High-ceilinged rooms and suites are white with vibrant accents. Accommodations include tile floors, dark wood trim and tropically patterned fabrics.
